Poolside Nachos in Princeville, Kauai

How do you say Nachos in Hawaiian?

Aloha & Mahalo. Eyes closed, Sunnies on, floating off into Paradise in the pool overlooking Hanalei Bay. I can hear Zac Brown Band Castaway playing even though my ears are under water. I sense a shadow drifting over me, and as I peek open only 1 eye, I see a vision in white…could this really be happening? Then I hear those 2 words that I have been dreaming about my entire Life…Poolside Nachos?

Yes please! The Poke Nachos at Nalu Kai are a local must-have when Vacationing in Kauai. Chopsticks, Maui onion chips mixed in, fresh Avocado, and creme fraiche wasabi. Locally sourced, amazig, melt-in-your-mouth fresh Ahi Tuna! An Aloha twist on a traditional favorite.

Nacho Average Birthday

Step aside Birthday Cake. No need for candles this year. All I really want is a big plate of Island Nachos at Kalypso, side of Pineapple salsa please, a double rainbow of fruit flavor. Shredded slow-cooked Kalua Pork & the local Kona Wailua Wheat on draft. Perfect chip-to-cheese ratio. Birthdays can be a time of reflection, a chance to set new goals for the year ahead, and re-invent yourself. While change is good & necessary to grow, some things in Life will never change, like a sweet plate of Nachos!

Nachos, you will always be my Boo

It’s Hallows Eve, and the night is darker than ever on the mystical Island of Kauai. You can hear the deadly waves crashing at Queens Bath, palm trees rustling in the tropical winds, and night creatures stirring for the local kukui nuts. The height of Scorpio season has brought good friends together for a spooky weekend of Nacho-tasting, Trick-o-Treat. Click follow to come along on our adventure.

Mac n Cheese Pancake, Santa Monica CA

It was too good to be true.

When I sat down at Blue Plate and opened the Menu, there it was, calling my name…Mac n Cheese Pancake! I had to give it a try! They baked cheesy shells into a giant pancake, melted cheese, parmesan & parsley on top, and served it with a side of hot sauce. Breakfast for Dinner is always a good move.

Nachos at La Playa, Cabo

What better way to kick off your friend’s Wedding Weekend than some Oceanside Nachos. If you stare long enough at the Ocean, you will see some Whale tails jumping around, unreal time to visit. While the coastal scenery & poolside ambience is seductive at the Westin, the Nachos are only enticing after your 3rd Corona.
